Head of Governance and Public Sector Management at the National Planning Authority of the Republic of Uganda She also heads the New Partnership for Africa’s Development and African Peer Review Mechanism Secretariat housed at the National Planning Authority, providing technical and secretariat support to the APRM National Governing Council and NEPAD initiatives in Uganda.

She coordinated the high level conference on Establishing Peace Infrastructure in Uganda, July 2010 which saw the birth of discussions on Infrastructure for Peace in Uganda, among other initiatives.

She formerly worked with Danida coordinating the Democracy and Human Rights component of the Human Rights and Good Governance Programme.

She has also worked with several Civil Society Organizations serving as board member and staff at different time including Action for Development, Uganda Debt Network, Uganda Land Alliance, Uganda Participatory Development Network, The Hunger Project, African Woman Food Farmer Initiative, and East African Support Unit for NGOs.

Ms. Angey holds a Masters in Economic Policy Management from Makerere University Kampala.
