Dr. Mohn has been CEO of the German Stroke Foundation in Guetersloh since 2000. In addition to her responsibilities as CEO, she has been heading the health program at the Bertelsmann Stiftung since 2001 and has been a board member of this foundation since 2005. Aside from her duties with the German Stroke Foundation and the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Dr. Mohn is a member of the supervisory board of the Bertelsmann AG and of the Rhoen-Kinikum AG, a member of the Bertelsmann Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbh, and a member of the advisory board of MediClin AG.

Prior to joining the German Stroke Foundation, Dr. Mohn worked as a consultant with McKinsey in Hamburg and with Pixelpark, Switzerland. From 1994 to 1997, Dr. Mohn was with the American publishing company Bantam Doubleday Dell where she served as Head of Marketing for “Academic Marketing”. She then moved on to head special projects with Doubleday Direct, New York. Before that, Dr. Mohn worked as an editor for the Muenster Chamber of Commerce and for the Institute of World Economics in Kiel. Dr. Mohn earned a Ph. d. in Politics, Art History and German at the University of Witten/Herdecke and a Master of Philosophy at the University of Augsburg. Furthermore, she attained an MBA at Kellogg/WHU.
