Kamil Kamaluddee
Country Director at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ghana.
He has extensive experience in human development and post-conflict management. His present work on conflict transformation and consolidation of peace focuses on strengthening institutional and policy framework for peace building, alternative dispute mechanisms and the control of illicit arms. He also manages substantial analytical and programming effort on the socio-economic dimensions of conflict management, community-driven recovery and restoration of productive capacity.
Prior to his current assignment in Ghana, Dr. Kamaluddeen worked on the Liberia’s Post-Conflict Needs Assessment and Results-Focused Transition Framework, RFTF (2004-2006) including its implementation framework, which he helped to develop. Other conflict management support instruments to which he contributed include the Somalia Needs Assessment
