Nadia Murabet, the Founder and Executive Director of Miracle Africa International Foundation, a Swiss-based foundation, is a dynamic, creative international business woman whose work focuses on positive world change and improving people’s lives.

Originally from Libya and the daughter of Mohamed Murabet, a renowned Libyan publisher, journalist and historian, Ms. Murabet possesses an extensive and rich background including senior employment positions in numerous multinational companies for the Arab Gulf and Mediterranean regions.

Nadia started the Miracle Africa International Foundation to address the suffering and hardships that people in Africa increasingly face every day of their lives. She feels that through the work of the Foundation for the African continent, she can make a positive difference in people’s lives by promoting education, health and freedom especially in her country Libya and by increasing awareness of its riches, primarily composed of its people.

Among other awards, in 2008, as part of her commitment to promote peace in Africa, Ms. Murabet personally sponsored a walk for peace across the Libyan desert. Nadia was also presented in 2008 with the International Leadership Award at the Africa International Media Summit.
