He is a Marketing expert and next to his life on a farm in the middle of nowhere he is supporting farmers in the poorest countries through an extensive engagement of Ben & Jerry's in Fairtrade raw material sourcing and the promotion of fair trade practices. The "Peace, Love and Ice Cream" slogan in the company logo is more than a relict from hippie times, it highlights the companies' values, which are brought to life through Fairtrade certifiied sourcing of raw materials, a leading edge sustainable dairy program, climate neutral production and much more.
