Mr.Srikiran Devara is currently working as Team Leader (a.i) and Governance Specialist, Governance Programme, Uganda.

He holds 2 Masters Degrees from University of Hyderabad, India and London School of Economics and Political Science. One of the projects he is currently working is on strengthening national capacities for peace-building and conflict resolution.

UNDP Uganda is currently developing this programme with key national counterparts to strengthen national and local level institutional mechanisms that aim for strengthening social cohesion.

Prior to joining UNDP, Mr.Devara worked in India on a Governance Reform Project funded by the DFID. He was responsible for managing projects that aim at strengthening accountability and transparency in key ministries of the government.
